Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have back-up equipment?
Yes, I always have at least two cameras and multiple lenses, it’s exceptionally rare that a technical issue occurs but in the event that it does, I’m covered!
How many images will we receive and do we get usage rights?
Image numbers largely depend on how much coverage you opt for in your package. During a typical full wedding day (bridal preparations through to the first dance), you will receive approximately 500 images.
You are assigned full and unrestricted personal usage rights to print and share/distribute yourselves.
How long after the wedding will the photographs be ready?
Typically, in quieter months (Autumn/Winter) your images are ready within 3 - 4 weeks following the wedding. However, during peak wedding season (Spring/Summer) it may take slightly longer, around 5 - 6 weeks.
Will it be you as my Wedding Photographer and do you have a second photographer?
It will always be me, as both the Photographer on your wedding day and doing the post wedding editing.
I work solely on my own, and do not have, or hire second photographers.
Are you fully insured?
Yes. I have full, professional insurance to cover every aspect of my wedding photography services. I am happy to provide proof of insurance to wedding venues, upon request.
Do you do posed couple portraits and if so, when?
Typically I’ll spend 5 to 10 minutes with couples during the first 15 minutes of their drinks reception. My portraits are simply a bi-product of a nice walk in a pretty environment. I don’t pose couples. Instead, I want these portraits to blend seamlessly with the documentary coverage.
During the summer months, I may also take couples for a little walk later in the day during the golden hour, that magical light shortly before sunset.
